After attracting a small bit of attention for redrawing other peoples’ work without payment, the author of this book accepted a book deal to reprint his comics, and to get paid himself, but not pay the authors of the original tweets. To add insult to injury, he “kindly” offered to give some of the people whose work he used a signed copy of his worthless book.

The only good thing about this entire ordeal is that one of the writers whose work this asshole took, “g0m“, wrote a review of it that you need to read.
