Novelty t-shirts are sometimes like the world’s worst game of Telephone, with an idea that’s usually terrible to begin with getting progressively more twisted and convoluted through one or more language barriers. This one is notable for how far away it got from the original idea while still being recognizable.

The premise of Funny Shocking Toys Electric Shocker Calculator Fake Gag Gift Trick Office Prank (its full name) is fatally flawed. Handing someone a crummy calculator and asking them to calculate some numbers is suspicious, at best. At least Shock Phone Funny Prank Gag looks like a phone, which someone is likely to hold in their hand and use, if it’s the case that you want to hurt someone’s hand and then laugh at them in the first place.

Even though the NES Classic is going back into production later this year, and even though its functionality can be easily replicated with a Raspberry Pi containing every NES game ever made ($70-ish) or a computer emulator (free) it’s still being sold for an insane premium. Customer reviews also note that some sellers of it are sending bootleg versions instead of the real one.

The highlight here is the five-star review which says “Just don’t forget them at the restaurant like we had.” Which implies that each member of his family had one, and they brought them to a restaurant, and ate their spaghetti with them. In the restaurant.

Flic is a small plastic button that you mount somewhere, and you push it, and it tells your phone to do something you could have done on your phone with your finger by pushing the phone instead of the Flic. Someone at Flic apparently saw the Amazon Dash Button and thought, “Why don’t we do this too, except we’ll make it five times as expensive?“
